What do you get at a Mother Black Cap gig?
Well hopefully a good night out - the band set out to entertain, enlighten, and enjoy the experience. The band normally perform a rough 50/50 split of their innovative original material culled from their 2 albums and familiar rock standards given the Black Cap treatment. Prog doesn't have to be dull - as well as playing some cracking covers that will have you singing along, dancing, foot-tapping or at least drinking, there will be the inevitable equipment breakdowns, probably some of Bob's bad jokes, some wise and witty quips form David, plenty of 'out of time movement' from Martin, some over the top posing form Iain and Neil's manic percussion - and we haven't even mentioned the great light show - and we throw in all the mistakes for free...how could you possibly miss this stadium rock band down your local?....Mother Black Cap extent a warm welcome to anyone brave enough to venture out to see them play and encourage anyone to come and massage their ego after the gig...
